Reine de Naples watches from Breguet are inspired by the first bracelet watch developed by the Swiss watchmaker for Bonaparte's sister Caroline, Queen of Naples. This timepiece carries through the same distinct Features of the popular collection, with an 18ct rose gold case shaped into the instantly recognisable egg shape. The rose gold case is set with 139 breath-taking round brilliant cut diamonds on the 25mm diameter case which also features a ball attachment covered in diamonds. These diamonds are set into the bezel enhancing the captivating tones of a mother of pearl dial. The winding crown is topped with a briloette shaped diamond. Stretched Arabic numerals for the hour track surround an off-centre main timekeeping dial endowed with blued signature Breguet-style hands. The entire dial is protected by a lens of sapphire crystal glass integrated with anti reflective and scratch resistant properties. Flipping the watch over to the reverse size exposes the performance of the in-house crafted Calibre 586/1.The self-winding movement provides an impressive 38-hour power reserve and comprises a total of 180 hand-assembled components. The meticulous engine is held inside a 30-meter water resistant case which attaches to a dramatic black alligator leather strap with a matching polished 18ct rose gold deployment clasp.
