Tell us about your current watch and the Berry's watch you are interested in purchasing. The more detail you can provide about the model, condition, box, papers and service history, the more useful the initial conversation can be.
Assessment & Checks
If you would like to proceed after receiving an initial estimate, our team will arrange the next stage. Your watch will undergo the appropriate inspection, authentication and valuation checks before a final part-exchange value is confirmed.
Complete Your Purchase
Once the assessment is complete and you are happy with the confirmed value, the agreed amount can be applied towards your chosen eligible watch from Berry's.
Initial estimates are provisional.
The final part-exchange value can only be confirmed once Berry's has physically inspected the watch and completed the checks appropriate to that timepiece. Timescales can therefore vary by watch and brand.
What Can Affect the Part-Exchange Value?
Luxury watches are assessed individually. A number of factors can influence both whether a watch is suitable for part exchange and the value that can ultimately be offered.
Case, bracelet or strap, crystal, dial and the overall condition of the watch.
Original presentation box, warranty documentation and supporting paperwork where available.
The exact reference, age, specification and characteristics of the watch.
Relevant servicing and maintenance information can help build a clearer picture of the watch.
Spare bracelet links, additional straps and other original accessories may also be relevant.

Berry's considers enquiries for many leading luxury watch brands. Current examples include Rolex, Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Cartier, Breitling and OMEGA. This is not an exhaustive list, and suitability is assessed watch by watch.
Is my initial estimate guaranteed?
No. Any initial estimate is provisional. The final part-exchange value can only be confirmed after the watch has been physically inspected and the appropriate checks have been completed.
Do I need the original box and papers?
You can still submit an enquiry if you do not have every original accessory. Box, papers, spare links, service history and overall completeness can all be relevant when the watch is assessed.
How is the final value decided?
The watch is considered individually, taking into account factors such as its model, reference, age, condition, completeness and the findings of the inspection and authentication checks.
How long does the process take?
Timescales vary according to the watch and the inspection, authentication and valuation checks required. Our team will explain the expected process for your individual enquiry rather than applying one fixed timeframe to every watch.
Do I need to visit a Berry's showroom?
An initial enquiry can be made before the watch is physically assessed. If the enquiry progresses, our team will explain where and how the watch needs to be presented for the required checks.
What happens if I decide not to proceed?
An initial estimate does not oblige you to complete a part exchange. Before your watch is booked in for any further assessment, our team can explain the next steps and any relevant arrangements.
