She also works with clients on bespoke commissions and remodelling projects, helping translate an idea into a design through her love of colour, drawing and jewellery.
Sally Hill
With a background in art and jewellery design, Sally has a particular passion for taking jewellery that is no longer being worn and transforming it into something that can be treasured again.
Her design approach is especially well suited to sentimental and inherited pieces where the story behind the jewellery is as important as the new design.

How does the bespoke jewellery process work?
The journey normally begins with a consultation, followed by design development, selection of any required gemstones and precious metals, approval of the design and quotation, manufacture, finishing and final presentation.
Can you remodel jewellery I already own?
Yes. We can discuss remodelling sentimental, inherited or unworn jewellery into a new design. The existing stones and materials will first need to be assessed to determine what can be safely reused.
Can you reuse gemstones from an existing piece?
In many cases this may be possible, subject to inspection of the gemstone's condition, dimensions and suitability for the proposed new setting.
Do you offer bespoke engagement rings?
Yes. Our team can discuss an original engagement-ring design, including natural diamond or coloured-gemstone options and the precious metal used for the setting.
Does Berry's use natural diamonds for bespoke jewellery?
Yes. Where a bespoke design includes diamonds, Berry's Jewellers works with natural diamonds only.
Can I see the design before manufacture?
The design is developed with you before manufacture begins. The exact presentation method can vary by commission and may include hand sketches, CAD or other design visuals.
How long does bespoke jewellery take?
Timescales vary according to the complexity of the design, gemstone sourcing, approvals and manufacturing requirements. Our team will confirm an indicative completion time for your individual commission.
How much does bespoke jewellery cost?
Every commission is different. The final price depends on the design, precious-metal content, gemstones, craftsmanship and other requirements. A quotation will be discussed before manufacture proceeds.
Can bespoke jewellery be returned?
Jewellery made to your specifications or clearly personalised is normally excluded from the standard change-of-mind cancellation right for distance purchases. This does not affect your statutory rights if the finished jewellery is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet your legal rights. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full information.

Bespoke and remodelling projects are subject to design feasibility, assessment of any customer-supplied jewellery or gemstones, availability of materials and agreement of the final specification and quotation.
