As its name suggests, the men’s Seamaster watch is equipped with 300-meter water resistance and is topped with a strong domed anti reflective sapphire crystal glass front, which protects a polished black ceramic dial from dust, dents, scratching, water, heat and light damage. The surface of the dial is also executed with a brushed and polished laser-ablated wave-effect pattern, creating a sense of depth against a set of luminous coated central hands. The hour track, represented in circular and rectangular-shaped indexes has also received a generous helping of luminous material, guiding the wearer to precision timekeeping during the night. Powering the hands of this Seamaster Diver 300M watch is the Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which provides a 55-hour power reserve. The self-winding engine is also resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The movement is put on display behind a sapphire-backed case and also provides a date aperture at 6 o’clock.
