This beautiful Mikimoto pearl pendant from the Japanese brand’s Morning Dew jewellery collection mirrors the look of a glistening drop of water as light enters its sphere on a crisp morning. The design is inspired by clean, purist lines and shards of light created by hand-selected round brilliant-cut diamonds. Ladies who like to get noticed for their exquisite taste in fine jewellery will adore how each scintillating diamond interacts with the iridescent sheen of the pearl centrepiece. The Mikimoto pearl and diamond Morning Dew pendant has been crafted from 18ct yellow gold and Features a 10x11mm golden South Sea pearl suspended from a graduating diamond-set bale. The round brilliant-cut diamonds start small and lead up to larger stones towards a delicate 18ct yellow gold chain – each one held inside a timeless four-claw setting. Skilled craftsmen at Mikimoto have executed the surface of the yellow gold metal with a polished finish to enhance the fire and brilliance of each diamond. The chain, which measures a total length of 45cm, secures to the back of the neck with a classic lobster-style fasten and can be adjusted to wear at a shorter length of 40cm.
