This extra large-sized men’s Cartier Santos Dumont watch remains faithful in many ways to the original 1904 design. Its instantly recognisable screws bolting a 18ct yellow gold bezel onto a stainless steel case balances function with luxurious elements perfectly. The watch is water resistant up to 30 metres and provides a safe and secure environment for a mechanical movement to operate within. The manual winding, calibre 430 MC performs at 21,600 oscillations per hour and provides the wearer with a 36-hour power reserve for those occasions spent off the wrist. This elegant watch features a silvered satin-finish sunray-effect dial adorned with a traditional crisp black Roman numeral hour track. Other signature hallmarks of Cartier’s expert watchmaking are present in the blued steel sword-shaped hands and inner minute track. A steel beaded crown is set with a blue synthetic spinel cabochon and the watch is attached to a classic-looking black alligator leather strap with a steel ardillon buckle. The dimensions of the Santos Dumont’s square-shaped case measure: 46.6 mm x 33.9 mm, thickness 7.5mm.
