Watchmakers at the prestigious manufacturing facilities created the Seventies Panorama watch with gentle curves and a retro streamlined feel. This men’s Glashutte Original watch takes residence upon the wrist with a 40mm diameter. Its polished stainless steel case is square-shaped with softly rounded corners framing a stunning galvanised blue dial with elegant indices and a printed hour track. Uniquely, the date aperture located at 6 o’clock is arranged with two display discs that have been mounted on the same level. These concentrically positioned discs enable the numerals to be read quickly and easily without the separation bar running through the middle. Another interesting feature of the men’s 40mm Glashutte Original Seventies Panorama Date watch is how its sapphire crystal glass caseback has been gently domed to enhance wearer comfort. It offers a clear view of the meticulously developed Calibre 39-47, which sits inside a 100-meter water resistant housing, providing a useful 40-hour power reserve and beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. This engine has been completed with a swan-neck fine adjustment mechanism, bevelled edges, polished steel elements and a 21ct gold oscillation weight. The retro sporty look and feel of the Glashutte Original Panorama Date watch is finished with a sophisticated blue Louisiana alligator leather strap and matching steel buckle.
