Commemorating five generations of authentic British jewellery design with our OPEIA jewellery collection – a celestial-inspired range of elegant jewellery creations – this small-sized pendant combines the feminine tones of the pink sapphire gemstone with the radiance of the classic diamond. Running throughout this dramatic and influential OPEIA jewellery collection is a strong focus on family, depicted by the repeated shape of the classic circle and the focus on the number five. These elements which signify five generations here at Berry’s Jewellers and 125 years of authentic craftsmanship are infused with bursts of light inspired by shooting stars and formed by the timeless round brilliant-cut diamond acting as a comet in motion across the night sky. The OPEIA collection takes its name from the word Cassiopeia – a constellation found in the Northern sky that was named after Queen Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda. The OPEIA pendant has been crafted from polished 18ct white gold. It Features a circular shape adorned with five round brilliant-cut pink sapphires connected by a comet-inspired trail of light achieved by five graduating claw-set round brilliant-cut diamonds. The pink sapphire and diamond pendant hangs from a white gold chain that secures to the back of the neck with a lobster-style clasp and a signature Berry’s “B”-shaped charm. The diamonds chosen for this unique OPEIA pendant weigh 0.25 carats and have a colour and clarity grading of G and VS, whilst the pink sapphire stones weigh 0.56 carats.
