Start Your ReturnFor most eligible online orders, you can tell us you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day you receive your goods.
Once you have told us you are cancelling, you should send the eligible goods back within the following 14 days.
If an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact Customer Services so we can arrange the appropriate next step.
For change-of-mind returns, please follow the steps below. Different arrangements may apply if an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Use our Returns Centre and provide the requested order information so your return can be identified correctly.
Return the item with its original presentation packaging, documentation and proof of purchase. Berry's swing tags should remain attached where supplied.
Package the item carefully. For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the return and its cost unless we tell you otherwise.
Once the return has been received and checked, any refund due will be processed in accordance with the conditions below and your statutory rights.
You may inspect an online purchase as you reasonably would in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, any refund may be reduced to reflect a loss in value where the law permits.
The statutory right to cancel an online order does not normally apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
This can include bespoke commissions, engraving, customer-requested alterations or resizing, and other products individually customised for you.
Where an item is subject to this exception, we aim to make this clear before the order is completed. Your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected.
If your item arrives damaged, develops a fault, or you receive something different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
For faulty goods, consumer law provides remedies that are separate from the change-of-mind cancellation rights described above. Depending on the circumstances, these can include a refund, repair or replacement.
The short-term right to reject faulty goods normally lasts 30 days. Other statutory remedies may continue to apply after that period.
For faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, please speak to our team so we can advise you on the most appropriate return arrangements.
0113 201 0512customerservice@berrysjewellers.co.ukWhere goods are faulty or incorrect and you are entitled to return them, Berry's will cover reasonable return costs in accordance with your legal rights.
Refund timing depends on the reason for the return and when the returned goods, or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back, are received.
For an eligible cancelled online order, we will make any refund due without undue delay and within the period required by law. We may withhold the refund until the goods are received back or you provide evidence of return, whichever is earlier.
Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply, the refund includes the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional amount paid for a premium delivery service does not have to be refunded.
Refunds are ordinarily made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless another method is expressly agreed or different arrangements are required by law.
For full information about cancelling an online order, including your cancellation rights, applicable timeframes and important exclusions, please read our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
There is no general statutory right to return an item bought in a shop simply because you have changed your mind.
Any exchange or credit note offered for a non-faulty in-store purchase is subject to the applicable Berry's in-store policy and the condition of the item.
This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
Returns can differ depending on whether you purchased online or in store, whether the item was personalised, and whether the issue is a change of mind or a fault.
Customer Services can check your order and advise you before you send anything back.
