Four new beautiful pastel-coloured watches have joined the OMEGA Constellation collection with a discreet 28mm diameter and a choice between a diamond or non-diamond display.
The OMEGA Constellation has remained one of the prestigious watchmaker’s cornerstone offerings for many years. The collection spans a huge and diverse array of men’s and women’s watches that perfectly capture OMEGA’s dedication to creating timeless and precise wristwatches. It was the sequel to OMEGA’s centenary and originally launched back in 1952. Extending the elegant ladies’ offerings are four new OMEGA Constellation watches in a compact 28mm case size. Offering a choice in dial colour and fitted on the manufacturer’s iconic Constellation mono-rang bracelet, these fresh new iterations convey a cosmopolitan look, fused with innovative materials to create a luxurious companion for the female wrist.
A little about the Omega Constellation watch
The OMEGA Constellation collection is best known for its range of elegant chronometers, many of which can withstand magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss, others of which are crafted from high-end materials like platinum. The design of an Omega Constellation has changed considerably over the decades but is still characterised by some key design codes. These include the “griffes” or claws attached to the sides of the bezel, the integrated metal band, and the iconic Constellation star introduced in the 1950s, seen adorned to the surface of every dial. The Constellation watch started out with quite a classic look, which later evolved into a resolutely sporty-looking model. Since the early 1980s and the launch of the Constellation Manhattan, the claws on the bezel at 3 and 9 o’clock formed grip-like structures that have been a prominent design feature ever since, whilst the horizontal links of the bracelet and classic leather bands were designed with comfort in mind.
Features of the new OMEGA Constellation ladies watches
OMEGA’s current collection of ladies Constellation watches has been revitalised over recent years and now offers many modern designs that retain the collection’s iconic spirit, whilst incorporating the manufacturer’s state of the art technology. These fifth-generation models are resolutely feminine and boast refined finishes like the slimmed-down claws on the bezel that merge effortlessly into the case. The bezel itself has also been redesigned for a slimmer and slenderer profile. Overall, the watches appear more compact but are less imposing on the wrist, with bezels engraved with thinner Roman numeral hour markers. The case also has new bevelled edges and the teeth on the crown at 3 o’clock follow the facets of the case with grooves shaped into half-moon profiles.
OMEGA has been working towards offering more dial options within the Constellation range. The date window now sits at 6 o’clock as opposed to 3 o’clock and the hands are incredibly slimline in shape, boasting a skeletonised middle. The shape of the hands is also inspired by the New York Skyline. Whilst larger OMEGA Constellation models are offered on classic-looking leather straps, the quartz-powered watches are fitted on integrated bracelets with polished mid-bar links. The clasp fitted to every Constellation bracelet is engraved with the famous OMEGA logo, fitted with half-moon facets and are in-keeping with the bevelled case and grooved winding crown. Enabling the wearer to extend the bracelet by discreet 2mm increments, the metal mono-rang band is also equipped with a release button feature.
The new ladies 28mm OMEGA Constellation watches
The four new OMEGA Constellation watches recently released by the manufacturer come in a selection of stunning dial colours. The Constellation watch ref. 131.10.28.60.60.001 boasts a captivating green matcha dial. The beautiful blush rose dial goes by the reference 13110286011001, whilst the Constellation watch ref. 13110286003001 presents the time on a stunning celestial blue dial. Lastly, the ladies Constellation watch ref. 13110286060002 sits under its strong anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass in a mesmerising patchouli blossom-coloured dial.

All of the watches are steel-on-steel models and are powered by a reliable Swiss-made quartz movement. They all measure a 28mm diameter and have been integrated with 30-meter water resistance. To match the colour of each dial, the Roman numerals applied to the surface of the bezel are echoed in the same pastel shades. The cases and bracelets of each of these new ladies OMEGA Constellation watches are all executed in a fine-brushed surface, except for the claws on the bezel and the mid-bar links on the band. Each of the quartz movements promise a "Long Life" feature that maximizes the autonomy of the battery, promising up to 48 months of power. The Calibre 4061 movement has also been decorated with the famous OMEGA logo with rhodium plated parts and circular graining.

Upon the surface of each of the pale purple and green-coloured dials is a set of scintillating diamond dot indexes representing the hour markers, whilst the green and pink dial iterations are represented by 18ct white gold tapering indexes. These models all forego the date aperture and present the time on a simple three-handed display adorned with the five-sided Constellation star symbol at 6 o’clock. This signature detail is balanced by the OMEGA lettering and logo at 12 o’clock, whilst on the back of each case, the Constellation Observatory medallion is stamped.
