The Master Retrograde watch is also known as the “Quadruple Retrograde” due to its collection of four retrograde hands on the dial - all communicating clear, precise detail to the wearer on a sleek, incredibly easy-to-reference dial. Fitted with a mechanical movement that provides a 46 hour power reserve and 28,800 vibrations per hour, the internal movement of this watch is a powerhouse - the nerve centre of the entire masterpiece, yet it is the dial itself which captivates with its refined finish, accurately reflecting the time and skill dedicated by Longines in achieving such precision.

At the head of the dial, a day aperture is presented in an elegant arc shape - to the left - a 24 hour feature and to the right - a date display. Mirroring the unique half moon-shape of the day window at the North of the watch, the 6 o’clock location presents a small seconds display, adding further leverage to such an already highly technical timepiece. As seen in some popular Longines watches in the past, the Master Retrograde watch features a delicate Guilloche textured surface to the dial - an eye catching background accommodating Arabic numerals at some of the hour locations - that is, those that are not already occupied by sub-dials. Finished with these striking blue steeled hands, the injection of colour adds a classic sportiness to the design.
