Vacheron Constantin Expands the Overseas Collection with Two New Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Models

Vacheron Constantin, one of the most prestigious names in Swiss Haute Horlogerie, has enriched its iconic Overseas watch collection with two new interpretations of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin. These remarkable timepieces combine the Maison’s centuries-old watchmaking savoir-faire with a refined sense of sporty elegance, further strengthening the reputation of Vacheron Constantin watches as masterpieces of design and mechanical ingenuity.

The Vacheron Constantin Overseas range is celebrated for its adventurous spirit, characterised by its Maltese cross-inspired case and its seamless transition from elegant to sporty aesthetics. First conceived for those with a passion for exploration and fine watchmaking, the Overseas embodies both refinement and versatility. The new Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin models continue this legacy, offering collectors a sophisticated companion for life’s journeys.

Both new models are housed in 41.5mm cases measuring just 8.1mm thick, a testament to Vacheron Constantin’s expertise in ultra-thin engineering.

• Pink Gold with Golden Dial – This 18K 5N pink gold edition exudes harmony and warmth, with a sunburst satin-finished golden dial matched by a moonphase display crafted in the same precious metal. A subtle blue minute track provides a touch of contrast, while the watch’s 18K pink gold bracelet can be easily switched for either a white or blue rubber strap, highlighting the Overseas’ signature versatility.
• White Gold with Burgundy Dial – A striking interpretation in 18K white gold, paired with a bold burgundy lacquer dial and matching moonphase disc. Enhanced by crisp white numerals and indexes, this model offers both sophistication and legibility. The interchangeable bracelet and rubber strap options — in burgundy or white — allow the wearer to shift effortlessly from refined luxury to a more casual style.

Inside both models is the Manufacture Calibre 1120 QP/1, an ultra-thin self-winding movement measuring just 4.05mm. Despite its delicate proportions, the movement incorporates one of horology’s most complex complications: the perpetual calendar.

This mechanism automatically adjusts for months of varying lengths as well as leap years, requiring no manual correction until the year 2100. Displaying the day, date, month, leap year cycle and moon phase, it offers complete calendar information in a balanced, elegant layout.

Visible through the transparent sapphire caseback, the movement showcases meticulous finishing, including Côtes de Genève, chamfering, and a 22K gold oscillating weight engraved with a compass rose — a tribute to the Overseas collection’s travel-inspired heritage.
