Cartier releases a smoky green and blue degrade dial option for its iconic pilot’s watch range. The new Cartier Santos watches are available to order at Berry’s Jewellers and come with alluring sunray brushed dials in rich blue and green nuances.
The iconic square pilot’s watch line by Cartier grows with the release of two new additions to the series – a blue, and a smoky green dial version – each one paying home to 100 years of history. The first model, designed by Louis Cartier for the French aviator, Alberto Santos-Dumont back in 1904, proved an entirely new concept at the time with its integrated lugs, sloping Roman numerals and an instantly recognisable square-shaped case. Thankfully for many Cartier fans, the design of the Santos pilot watch has remained largely unchanged, with prominent inner railroad tracks and decorative case screws remaining some of its key characteristics.
