The PanoReserve watch from Glashutte Original is a refined work of art. The dial, although graced with many practical Features on a stylish fine matte galvanised silver background, is incredibly easy to read. The time can be accessed in a beautiful off-centre dial, with central hands and hour indexes coated in a SuperLumiNova treatment. A power reserve at 2 o’clock communicates how many hours of energy are left inside the in-house manufactured calibre 65-01 – complete with a duplex swan-neck fine adjustment, screwed gold chatons, bevelled edges, polished steel parts and a balance bridge engraved by hand. With an impressive 42-hour power reserve, the gentleman is sure to make the most out of this timepiece, complete on a classic black leather strap. The fittings of the strap are finished in polished stainless steel to complement the broad 40mm diameter bezel, the lugs of the strap and the double “G” engraved logo on the surface of the crown at 3 o’clock. Of course, for many, the winning attribute of the Glashutte Original PanoReserve watch is the beautiful sapphire glass bottom. The reverse of the watch showcases the stunning movement and all its finely crafted decoration. This unique insight into the internal working order of the watch allows the gentleman a chance to appreciate some of the Maison’s finest examples of quintessential German craftsmanship.
