The pink sapphire gemstones incorporated into this unique large-sized OPEIA pendant from Berry’s Jewellers add a subtle splash of colour to any elegant attire and bring five generations of authentic craftsmanship together with the classic diamond. The OPEIA pendant belongs to a collection that celebrates 125 years of our company and focuses strongly on celestial-inspired shapes and elements. The design has been crafted from polished 18ct white gold and Features a circular-shaped pendant that creates a negative internal shape that forms a five-pointed star. The diamonds and gemstones incorporated into this OPEIA pendant are connected, just as the imaginary lines of stars create a comet across the night sky. The name of this jewellery collection derives from the word Cassiopeia – a constellation found in the Northern sky that was named after Queen Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda. The design Features five captivating claw-set round brilliant-cut pink sapphires positioned across the surface of the pendant. The gemstones are each connected by a trail of five graduating claw-set round brilliant-cut diamonds. This white gold pink sapphire and diamond pendant attaches to the base of an 18-inch chain crafted from matching 18ct white gold. The chain also secures to the back of the neck with a classic lobster-style clasp accompanied by a Berry’s signature “B”- shaped charm. Further round brilliant-cut diamonds that have been secured inside smooth rub-over settings can also be seen along the chain itself, adding further opulence and panache to the design. The pink sapphire stones incorporated into this OPEIA pendant amount to a total weight of 1.30 carats and the diamonds combine to weigh 0.90 carats.
