Captivating green emerald gemstones and striking diamonds come together beautifully in this stunning pair of OPEIA earrings, celebrating 125 years of Berry’s Jewellers. The collection represents five generations of authentic craftsmanship and is named after Cassiopeia, the constellation found in the Northern sky that was named after Queen Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda. Fittingly, the designs within the OPEIA jewellery collection have a fluid and flowing form, enhanced by graduating round brilliant-cut diamonds that echo the way in which moving comets leave a trail of shimmering light behind them as they glide through a rich blanket of black sky at night. The negative inverted space inside the circle of each earring also forms a five-point star shape – yet another nod to the meaning behind the number five in this alluring collection. The OPEIA earrings have been crafted from 18ct white gold and attach to the ears with a classic post and butterfly fastening. The creation has been designed, like all other pieces from the OPEIA collection, by our talented designer, Emily Holdich. Five round brilliant-cut emerald gemstones have been secured inside a four-claw setting and are connected to one another by a line of graduating round brilliant-cut diamonds to mimic a line of shimmering stars. The emerald gemstones amount to a total weight of 0.76 carats, whilst the round brilliant-cut diamonds amount to a weight of 0.38 carats.
