Paying homage to the instantly recognisable cow horns that defined a Vacheron Constantin watch from 1955, this beautifully elegant Vacheron Constantin Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955 watch is a stainless steel model powered by a reliable and expertly crafted manual-winding chronograph movement. The watch measures a diameter of 38.5mm and features a scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass front and caseback. The latter exhibits the performance and traditional decoration of the manual-winding Calibre 1142, which provides an impressive 48-hour power reserve when away from the wrist. The Historiques Cornes de Vache watch features a silver dial with a tachymeter scale around the edge of the dial for measuring speed based on distance or distance based on time travelled. The centre of the dial is home to a blued steel central chronograph second hand and slim hour and minute hands, surrounded by Roman numerals and stick indexes for the hour track. The dial also offers a 30-minute sub-counter at 3 o’clock and a small second counter at 9 o’clock. A comfortable dark brown calf leather strap secures to the wrist with a stainless steel ardillon buckle.
