The Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope is powered by a Co-Axial Chronometer movement and boasts a sporty chronograph complication for measuring stopwatch timings. This 43mm model is crafted from stainless steel and features a silvery dial with classic blue elements. These comprise the leaf-shaped blued steel hands, blue Arabic numeral hour markers and three distinctive timing scales in a 1940’s “snail” design, including a tachymeter scale, a pulsometer scale and a telemeter scale. Surrounding the dials of the Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope watch is a blue anodized aluminium bezel ring with its tachymeter scale. The bezel attaches to a 50-meter water resistant case with a sapphire crystal glass front and a transparent caseback for viewing the manufacturer’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908 at work. The manual winding movement has a column wheel, is resistant to magnetic fields reaching up to 15,000 gauss and features a silicon balance spring. The movement also produces up to 60 hours of power reserve. To complete its sporty look, the Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope watch also features a 12-hour totaliser at 3 o’clock and a small second sub-dial at 9 o’clock. The watch is completed on a robust stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp engraved with the Omega logo.
