It brings Shosho to life as the long, tapered seconds hand, driven by the high beat calibre, moves powerfully across the dial. The model measures a compact 39.5mm diameter and is crafted from stainless steel. The GMT watch celebrates one of the year’s 24 seasonal phases or sekki and is powered by the calibre 9S86, which offers a 55-hour power reserve once fully wound, promising an accuracy of +5 to -3 seconds per day. This men’s Grand Seiko watch Features a silver “Shosho” dial with stick markers, an inner 24-hour scale, faceted central hour and minute hands, and a date window at 3 o’clock. A box-shaped sapphire crystal glass front is the same material used for the exhibition caseback. The Elegance GMT watch from Grand Seiko also Features a lion emblem incorporated into the caseback and secures to the wrist with a stainless steel bracelet with a three-fold clasp.
