The Alpine Eagle XL Chrono watch from Chopard is an elegant sport-chic watch with a twist. The first watch developed by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele was designed in 1980 – a design from which this chronograph takes inspiration. The 44mm model is crafted from robust stainless steel and integrated with 100-meter water resistance. The design takes inspiration from its designer’s passion for the Alps and the majestic eagle that soars to great heights there. The Lucent steel A223 is a special type of steel that protects a chronometer-certified chronograph movement – the Chopard 03.05-C. This engine provides a 60-hour power reserve and beats at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The Chopard Aline Eagle XL Chrono watch features a black dial colour achieved through a galvanic process, adorned with a finish inspired by the iris of an eagle. It also features rhodium-plated Roman numerals and Super-LumiNova coated indexes. A see-through sapphire crystal glass caseback exposes bridges adorned with Cotes de Geneve and circular graining decoration. The 100-meter water resistant Chopard Alpine Eagle XL watch also features a 12-hour totaliser at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a small second dial at 6 o’clock. The watch also features a flyback chronograph feature and envelops the wrist with a stainless steel bracelet with brushed and polished links.
