The 1847 MC engine performs at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour whilst secured firmly inside a 30-meter water resistant protective housing. Nestled safely inside the shape of the bezel itself, is a blue synthetic cabochon spinel-adorned crown at 3 o’clock, paired with a date aperture on the watch’s silvered guilloche dial. The display of this Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch also Features crisp black Roman numeral hour markers and blued steel hands shaped into the instantly recognisable sword shape.
