The Bremont Supermarine S500 watch is built with an impressive 500-meter water resistance and presents the time on a deep captivating blue dial. It pays reference to Bremont’s first ever dive watch developed in 2009. The robust and beautifully engineered model has been crafted from hardened stainless steel developed from Bremont’s Trip-Tick® case construction with a scratch resistant DLC treated case barrel. Inside the watch case is the company’s inner soft iron anti-magnetic Faraday cage, protecting the modified calibre 11 ½''' BE-36AE automatic chronometer from the damages caused by magnetic fields. The self-winding movement performs at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers an impressive 38-hour power reserve. Underneath a scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass lens is an hour track represented in crisp batons and Arabic numerals. The central hours hand has been treated with Super-LumiNova to assist with timekeeping in dark conditions. A unidirectional rotating bezel enables the wearer to keep track of elapsed time underwater easily. This Bremont Supermarine S500 watch is completed on a supple blue lined rubber strap with a steel buckle. The watch is also inspired by the Bremont brothers’ love of the iconic British aircraft manufacturer responsible for the Supermarine S6B Schneider Trophy Seaplane, and the incredible Supermarine Spitfire, tying in with the brand’s links to the aviation industry perfectly.
