Bremont Solo watches come in two different dial variations, both of which have been developed with legibility well and truly cemented at the forefront of the design. The timepieces are classic, understated even, and have the ability to transform from a day-to-day companion used in the office, to a beautiful evening wristwatch that will compliment a myriad of different precious metal finishes.
Our 32mm diameters are those within the ladies range. Dressed on sumptuous silver dials with classic Roman numeral hour indexes, the timepieces embrace all things opulent and luxurious. Named after one of WWII’s most world-famous female pilots, Lettice Curtis, the aviation-inspired design of the dial is incredibly legible, with beautiful blue steeled hands that add a profound injection of colour into the dial, along with a red arrow at the 12 o’clock index.
It is difficult to imagine a watch as simple as the Bremont Solo, with so much complexity behind its design. That is until of course, one is up close and personal with one. A few moments on the wrist and the wearer soon gets a feel for the brother’s passion behind aviation, and how important it is to them to perfectly reflect the need for precision in the cockpit. The design is similar to other Bremont watches designed for use out on the wing - those with clean, simple dials and elegantly polished bezels in particular. But Bremont Solo watches are also considerably unique. The larger versions for gentleman are presented on Arabic dials in either black or silver, with discreet date apertures peeking out from the third hour location, and the proud Bremont lettering emanating with confidence from the centre of the dial. Bremont Solo watches will fit effortlessly underneath the sleeve of a smart office shirt, but will also compliment silver, white gold or platinum cufflinks on a sophisticated evening suit for those more eloquent occasions.
Bremont Solo watches, although beautifully refined, are not as delicate as their intricately detailed dials suggest. The cases of these fine specimens, like all other Bremont watches, have been implemented with Bremont’s patented Trip-Tick case technology which strengthens the watch at the very core, and comes with a DLC treated case barrel for extra rigidity. Accommodating an in-house manufactured movement, each Bremont Solo watch is designed for longevity - a cherished heirloom to be passed down from one generation to another. Super-LumiNova® coating (C3 and BG W9) has been applied to the hands and indexes of these dials to enhance readability for the gentleman. This quality is further enriched by the brand’s sapphire crystal glass cover, which has undergone a total of 9 layers of anti reflective technology, as well as scratch resistant properties to provide a clear view into the lens.
Many Bremont Solo watches are fitted with embossed calfskin leather straps to add a truly classic feel to the design – perfect for those gentleman who like to look their best for all occasions. Whether it be the understated appeal of a Bremont Solo watch that attracts your attention, or the company’s ability to combine meticulously manufactured movements into a sleek, beautiful design, the Solo collection without a doubt, caters for all tastes and desires.
