Hawking 41mm 18ct Rose Gold Black Dial Limited Edition Men's Watch HAWKING-RG.
Limited edition model of only 88 worldwide.
Beyond exquisite, the Bremont Hawking limited edition collection pulls out all the stops once more with its 10th limited edition design, this time in celebration of the life and work of Professor Stephen Hawking. The theoretical physicist shaped the history of science and the field of cosmology with his ground-breaking research. Each one of the 88 limited edition rose gold Bremont Hawking watches has its number stamped onto an original seminal research paper co-written by Stephen Hawking in 1979 named “The ‘nuts’ and ‘bolts’ of gravity. The quantity of timepieces manufactured - “88” is a reference to his science book published in 1988 called the “Brief History of Time”. Its black dial with silver retrograde small seconds indicator is balanced by a grand date at 12 o’clock and luminous-coated hands and markers. On the other side of the watch, four pieces of antique would have been incorporated into the caseback of the 41mm rose gold Bremont Hawking watch, as has a piece of meteorite. Accompanying the meteorite used in this timepiece as a symbol of the cosmos, special hand-decorated detail mirrors the formation of the stars as they were seen in the night sky above Oxford on the evening of Stephen Hawking’s birth in 1942. The rose gold case is crafted in Bremont’s patented Trip Tick construction and is equipped with 100-meter water resistance. Inside the case is the Modified calibre 11 1/2’’’ BE-33-AE which offers a 42-hour power reserve.
