Its rich, luxurious design features a petrol blue lacquered barrel with champagne-tone gold-coated fittings. The Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Moctezuma I Limited Edition 4810 fountain pen is inspired by an Aztec spear-throwing device called an atlatl. With its refined hammer finish, the shape of the pen’s cone nods to an Aztec sacrificial knife with an obsidian blade. The rich blue colour of the Montblanc 4810 fountain pen echoes the colour of the royal cloak, whilst the two hieroglyphs decorating the cap are symbolizing the years of Moctezuma I's reign.
