Berry’s Jewellers are now stocking 3 elegant models from the new collection. Each variation stays true to the spirit of the original Navitimer whilst adopting a slender new case size of 35mm, a comfortable size for female fans of Breitling. There’s an all-stainless-steel version featuring a mother of pearl dial and diamond indices, a sophisticated 18ct gold & steel variation with mother-of-pearl and diamond indices, or for understated simplicity choose the steel model with silver dial and baton indices.
The new models retain many of the striking elements that are signature to the Navitimer as one of watchmaking’s greatest icons. The distinctive beaded bezel, harks back to the historic Navitimer Ref.806 which in 1959 enhanced Breitling’s global reputation as a leader in high-performance watches. All models also feature the famous circular slide rule, a ground-breaking design which endures from the very first Navitimer in 1952.
Whether you’re already a fan of the Breitling Navitimer or you’re new to the design, the latest stunning characteristics make it the perfect accessory for stylish women on the go.
The Navitimer Automatic 35 in stainless steel with mother of pearl dial (pictured above, ref: A17395211A1A1) features scintillating diamond dot indices that you simply won’t be able to take your eyes off. Each time you catch a diamond sparkling, it picks up a new shade of powder blue or soft lilac from the captivating mother of pearl dial it sits upon.
The Navitimer Automatic 35 two-tone watch (pictured above, ref: U17395211A1U1) also presents the time on mesmerising mother of pearl. This time, the 35mm beaded bezel is crafted from 18ct rose gold, highlighting a set of central minute, hour and second hands finished in the same material. Diamonds once again denote each hour marker, surrounding a rose gold “B” logo at 12 o’clock. Designed to wrap effortlessly around the wrist, the Navitimer bracelet made from stainless steel features flecks of 18ct rose gold running through its links.
The Navitimer Automatic 35 with silver dial (pictured above, ref: A17395F41G1A1 – view here ) differs slightly in that its hour track is represented in 18ct rose gold baton indices as opposed to diamond markers. The silver dial constitutes a pared-down version of the mother of pearl versions. Splashes of red are again featured in the central seconds hand and the numerals around the slide rule bezel. A cambered sapphire crystal glass lens with anti-reflective properties applied to both side of the glass enables a clear view into the dial at any point throughout the day or night.
The Navitimer Automatic 35 is powered by the Breitling Calibre 17, a self-winding movement, complete with 25 jewels and a power reserve of 38 hours. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Like all Breitling watches, they are COSC-certified chronometers, an independent confirmation of their precision.
The Breitling Navitimer Automatic 35 responds to the need for technical watches for women, which can be at once both stylish and functional.
