Hublot consider themselves a young manufacturer who creates timepieces at the heart of modern day needs and desires. Catering to the tastes of today’s man and woman – every Hublot watch combines century-old methods with new fabrication techniques and materials to create aesthetically appealing wristwatches with a meaning. The Hublot workshops based in Nyon on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland possess all of the necessary machinery and human skills required in fine Swiss watchmaking. Micro components within each movement are fitted at the heart of a Hublot watch and carefully constructed in synergy with a unique case shape, designed in different department. The individual parts of a Hublot watch come together at the end, creating a harmoniously balanced timekeeping instrument for the wrists of collectors and connoisseurs all over the world.
Included in Hublot’s portfolio of bench-mark setting timepieces, are a number of innovations, such as their red ceramic case material, their record-breaking power reserve of 50 days and their beautifully developed in-house movements. They also create timepieces made from high-end materials like gold and their ceramic alloy – Magic Gold. Some of the most iconic watch collections developed by this world-famous manufacture include the Big Bang, the Spirit of Big Bang and the Classic fusion family. Below we’ve created a summary of these three collections and what makes each design so desirable to a luxury watch collector.
Big Bang collection:
The Big Bang watch collection by Hublot is a representation of the company’s passion for exploring daring aesthetics and experimenting with unusual materials. The timepieces are perfect for making a statement with – their bold and confident case widths creating huge wrist presence when worn. The Big Bang watches are fitted with in-house calibres, tourbillons, GMT features, flyback chronographs, and perpetual calendars. Their highly complex designs are enveloped by Magic Gold, sapphire and carbon cases, and feature impressive movements like the ground-breaking MP-11 calibre with a 14 day power reserve. As the company’s flagship watch collection, the Big Bang line is truly eye-catching. Dials decorated with popping hues have a sporty feel to them. One interesting model from the Big Bang collection is the Sang Bleu watch which was designed by Swiss tattoo artist Maxime Büchi, who is famous for his geometric designs. The dials of the watch from the Sang Bleu division are presented in three overlapping polygons, their widths varying from 39mm to 45mm. Whilst some diamond or sapphire adorned Big Bang Sang Bleu watches represent the top end of the range, other versions like the Hublot Big Bang Sang Bleu white model are crafted from a lightweight titanium and donate an ergonomic and futuristic look to the wrist.

Crafted from satin finished King Gold, the Hublot Classic Fusion Racing Grey watch is a timepiece that combines indulgence with sport. Spirit of Big Bang:
Characterised by their tonneau-shaped cases the Spirit of Big Bang watches by Hublot are a series of timepieces powered by calibres modified from the El Primero chronograph movement. The cases are crafted from ceramic, titanium, King Gold and Magic Gold. Models with moonphase displays are also found in the Spirit of Big Bang collection. The watches retain the style and the character of the Big Bang originals, despite moving away from their iconic round-shaped cases. Completed on rubber and leather straps in a range of different colours, these watches display elements of their movements through the front of the dial. This complex and technical approach to timekeeping is loved by collectors of Hublot watches who enjoy combining style with technical beauty.
The Hublot Spirit of Big Bang 42mm 18ct King Gold watch

screws that add a decorative element to the timepiece. Gold batons are situated
around the outside of the dial, highlighting the tonneau shape of the case,
