With a day to go until the Royal wedding, chances are Meghan Markle has already given some thought to what tiara she’ll be wearing; will it be the Cartier Halo Scroll like the Duchess of Cambridge? Or perhaps the Spencer Tiara as a nod to her late mother-in-law? Whichever one she picks its sure to be a showstopper. But the real question is, what jewellery will she wear alongside it?
If her past style is anything to go by it’s not likely to be anything too overpowering; she typically likes a more delicate style, stackable rings and matching beaded bracelets. For Saturday we imagine the beads will be out but a white gold bangle could be the perfect addition. This unique design from Berry’s own Bridal Collection would sit well with lace, tying into a potential veil, and linking any hand jewellery to the earrings. Meticulously crafted from hand polished 18ct white gold, it features three 18ct white gold cabochons placed at intervals across the front of the design and set with clusters of brilliant cut diamonds.

While Meghan is usually a gold girl, as per her engagement ring, the tiara might dictate a white gold ensemble so as to not mix metals. These Berry’s emerald cut drop earrings would be a perfect choice, drawing on the geometric shape of her ring and the drop style, traditionally popular with brides. The shape of the drop is reminiscent of a padlock nested within a four claw set, with an emerald cut diamond as its centre stone. Striking but not over powering they would frame her face perfectly whilst not interfering with the tiara.

Depending on the style of the dress a drop necklace could also be in the running; with a pearl and diamond drop like this one from Berry’s being a very popular choice. One heavenly pearl is suspended from an 18ct white gold drop design, enhanced by three lavish brilliant cut diamonds cascading down the length of the drop. Kate Middleton chose not to wear a necklace but perhaps if Meghan picks the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara she’ll tie in its 19 oriental pearls with one of her own.

Whatever the choice may be, it’s sure to be elegant and we’ll be watching with anticipation on May 19th.
