New Limited Edition Bremont DH-88 – Celebrating the Greatest Air Race of All Time

The newest addition to the award-winning British brand celebrates the astonishing De Havilland DH-88 Comet, the aircraft that amazed the world in 1934 with a record-breaking air-race from England to Australia. Fighting exhaustion and significant mechanical challenges, whilst barely stopping for over three days, the Smith brothers in their pioneering British airplane won the flying competition.

To honour this record breaking achievement and to raise funds for the Shuttleworth collection, Bremont launches the ‘Limited edition Bremont DH-88’ chronometer. This unique watch made in England features an elegant style inspirited by the wonderful 1930s era. With limited numbers in stainless steel and rose gold cases, these house the beautifully finished Be-54AE chronometer rated chronograph movement with GMT functionality. Constructed to ensure the durability and precision Bremont is known for, the watch also features original spruce plywood from the undercarriage assembly of this winning aircraft.
