During that time, Breitling gained recognition for its precision cockpit clocks and pilots' chronographs produced by its esteemed Huit Aviation department.  The Breitling Classic Avi collection proudly honors this remarkable heritage with its highly legible dial, sturdy case, and distinctive rotating bezel, which allowed pilots to measure the duration of their pioneering long-haul flights.

Today, this collection celebrates the adventurous spirit of those early aviators and pays homage to four legendary planes: the Curtiss P40 Warhawk, the de Havilland Mosquito, the Vought F4U Corsair, and the North American P-51 Mustang.
